  Harvesting Lotus
Lotus is one of Thailand’s agricultural products. Almost every part of the Lotus is used. Its flower is used to worship the Buddha, its stem is used as a herbal medicine, its leaves is used as a food packer, its roots is used to make curry, its sheath can be eaten and used to make Thai deserts. Lotus harvesting is normally carried out in the morning. Local young farmers, guys and gals, paddle their boats to harvest the lotus. This is another way that they can meet each other.
